Specimen Requirements
Draw blood in a plain, red-top tube(s) or a serum gel tube(s). Spin down and send 3 mL of serum refrigerated.
Unspun specimens must be transported at ambient temperature and arrive to the laboratory within one hour of draw.
Reference Values
Negative: 0.0-35.9 µ/mL
Equivocal: 36.0-43.9 µ/mL
Positive: >43.9 µ/mL
