Specimen Requirements

10 mL from a well-mixed, 24-hour urine collection. 25mL of 6N Hydrochloric Acid should be used as a preservative. Refrigerate specimen during collection, and send specimen refrigerated.
Note:  1. 24-Hour volume  and starting and ending times are required on request form for processing.
2. Follow instructions in “Urine Collection” in “Special Instructions.”
