Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 8 hours of collection.

Using Pinworm Paddle Kit, collect specimen as follows:
1. Obtain specimen in early a.m. before rising and prior to bathing and defecation. For small children, it is best to collect specimen early in the morning, just before the child awakens.
2. Hold paddle by cap, and remove it from tube.

3. Separate buttocks, and press tacky surface against several areas of perianal region.

4. Replace paddle in tube.

5. Forward promptly at ambient temperature.
