Specimen Requirements
Speparated specimens are stable for 7 days at 2-8C
Serum and plasma (lithium heparin) are the recommended samples types for this assay.
Draw blood in a serum or plasma (lithium heparin) gel tube(s). Spin down and send 1 mL of serum/plasma refrigerated.
Unspun specimens must be transported at ambient temperature and arrive to the laboratory within one hour of draw.
