Specimen Requirements
Draw blood in a plain, red-top tube(s) or a serum gel tube(s). Spin down and send 3 mL of serum refrigerated.
Unspun specimens must be transported at ambient temperature and arrive to the laboratory withi one hour of draw.
Reference Values
Negative: 0.0-17.9 µ/mL
Equivocal: 18.0-21.9 µ/mL
Positive: >21.9 µ/mL
