Specimen Requirements

1 mL of body fluid in a green-top (lithium heparin) plasma gel tube, a plain syringe, a sterile specimen cup, or a plain red top (serum no gel) tube.  Send specimen refrigerated.

Note:  1.  If submitting a syringe, remove needle and cap syringe.

            2.  Indicate specimen source on request form.
