Specimen Requirements
Obtain body fluid. Spin down, and send 1 mL of fluid in a screw-capped, sterile container. Send specimen refrigerated. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.
Note: Indicate specimen source on request form.
If the fluid is extremely viscous, or if specimen can not
be spun down to achieve a clear supernatant, the specimen
will not be analyzed.
